Are you a member of the Canadian Mining Services and Supply Sector (MSSS)? Did you know that your company’s current or future products and services might have applications in space resources? Also, did you know that there are capabilities in the space resource sector that can help advance your current products and services? The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has contracted the Center for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI) to help identify Canadian terrestrial (earth) mining assets, capabilities and innovators relevant to space resource development and In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU), which is expected to become a key enabler for future space exploration activities. As part of this work, we would like to understand better the terrestrial mining capabilities in Canada that could be linked with developing ISRU-related technologies. We ask you to complete the following short survey to help us understand the connections between terrestrial mining and space resource development, and ISRU.
