The mining industry is an intensive energy user, where some energy may be lost by the various mining operations. Waste heat recovery will help to optimize processes and allow for a reduction in operating costs, energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. A waste heat recovery simulator will be presented to demonstrate value identification within the mining context.
